Procedures

All stages of the construction processes are respected equally.

I am obsessively careful with the finishing of the pieces:

From the choice of clay, design, glazes, firing, packaging... to photography and sale itself.

All pieces are produced and finished by me. After throwing, they go through a slow drying process, trimming, gluing the handles and/or some decoration, another slow drying (this time for 3 or 4 weeks to ensure homogeneous drying).

The first firing transforms the clay into ceramics, which takes an average of 13 hours to reach 1063°C, and 24 hours to cool down. Glazing is done with a brush and very carefully. The second firing, at 1240°C, glazes the enamel, waterproofing the pieces and closing all the pores of the material.
